Vernal Haze
An abstract landscape of Vernal Falls in Yosemite, CA. I was experimenting here with a technique where I mix acetone with charcoal powder to paint the flowing water. Then I went in after with charcoal pencils to add the additional details.
Charcoal on Canson XL series watercolor paper, 2021. Sprayed with a fixative to prevent smudging. Hand-signed by the artist, unframed.
