Pine Goddess
Based off of a photo I took of a friend in the woods of North Carolina, me up in a tree with a camera and her draped on the forest floor of pines needles. Her figure and position is mysterious and evocative, and she appears to transform into a pinned butterfly.
Charcoal on acid-free 400 series Strathmore bristol paper, 2018. Sprayed with a fixative to prevent smudging. Hand-signed by the artist, unframed. Framing available for an additional fee, message the artist to discuss. As with any indoor artwork, avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Reproductions may not be made without permission.
