Snowfall

Artwork Backstory

Living in Los Angeles, snow is not really a part of our winter experience. I grew up on the other side of the country regularly getting buried in East Coast snow, so occasionally I miss it.

I created this collection so I could at least feel the crisp beauty of a snowy winter through my art. There’s something so restorative and peaceful about vast winter landscapes.

Creative Concept

For this collection, I thought it would be fun to start very zoomed in on the beautiful details of a snow covered Evergreen tree, and with each subsequent painting zoom out further and further to a wider view of the winter landscape. There is a whole world of detail and beauty to appreciate within each view of the wintery world.
